Terra cotta is a warm-colored, earthy, low fire clay. I love the contrast between the clay and the bright glazes I paint with. These pieces are not intended to hold water or to be used as planters; they are strictly decorative. Use them for dry flower arrangements or display these on a table, sculpture stand or a shelving unit. These are large enough to work as floor pieces, as well.
My vessels are intended to be stand-alone objects. They are usually large and have a commanding presence. Often they are sculptural. Smaller vessels can find a small niche in your home. Large velssles can be placed on the floor, a sculpture stand, or table.
