Description
A hand-thrown bowl with hand-cut facets and a deep tenmoku glaze — a rich, dark glaze rooted in East Asian tradition, ranging from deep black to dark brown where the glaze thins over the ridges of the facets. The contrast between the dark glaze and the cut edges creates a striking visual texture. 5 inches diameter, 3 inches tall. Cone 11, gas-fired. Handmade at Fireborn Studios, Pittsburgh.
